Our Direct Investment Department is responsible for KAMCO’s proprietary investments and manages a substantial portfolio of quoted and unquoted investments, categorized as investments available for sale and in partnerships and subsidiaries.

The Department supports KAMCO through strategic product development and subsequent product launch activities, and has developed a unique expertise in the alternative asset class through investments and the development of funds and products. It also oversees the development and implementation of a portfolio risk management system that monitors on a monthly basis KAMCO’s proprietary investments’ value at risk.
