KAMCO accorded Superbrands status

- Voted by Superbrands Kuwait Council and over 1300 industry representatives as a Superbrand for 2010 -

17 January 2010, Kuwait City: KIPCO Asset Management Company KSC (KAMCO) has been recognized as a Superbrand in Kuwait’s second round of Superbrands. This acknowledgment is evidence of KAMCO’s strong brand equity, positive stakeholder perception and high value offering in products and services.

Globally, Superbrands recognizes brands which have consistently offered added value and earned a reputation of credibility. KAMCO’s Senior Vice President of the Strategic Marketing & Public Relations Department and Acting Head of the Sales & Marketing Division, Rola Saeed Al Mohtaseb said, “To reflect the versatility of our products and services in meeting ever-changing financial and investment needs, we launched a new corporate identity in September 2008 which was based on the Fibonacci design style which integrates a mathematical numbering system into the design. The design symbolizes the progression across KAMCO’s business divisions, our increasing impact in Kuwait and the GCC, and our growing commitment to offer added value.

The selection process saw KAMCO emerge as a Superbrand from a pool of over 3,000 brands in Kuwait, following ratings given by the Superbrands Kuwait Council and votes received from over 1,300 marketing professionals in Kuwait. The Superbrands Kuwait Council comprises renowned personalities from all the sectors in both branding & marketing and trading industries.

Since its establishment in 1998, KAMCO has successfully secured the confidence of clients, shareholders and industry experts, furthering its reputation as a leading financial brand in the region. Al Mohtaseb also added, “Being acknowledged as a Superbrand for 2010 speaks of our strong brand positioning amongst industry experts and the enduring relationship that we have built in just over eleven years with clients, business partners and shareholders.
